Ball Striking Improvement Series - Tip 3: Right Shoulder

By: Emga (East Midlands Golf Academy) | Wed 23 Aug 2017 | Comments ()

The term 'staying connected' in the golf swing is thrown about by many head professionals and golf coaches but is rarely explained in great detail.

Steve Astle clearly explains the idea behind staying connected during the golf swing and this all revolves around the proper use of the right shoulder.

Most amateur golfers fail to successfully turn with their shoulders and end up getting in inconsistent positons at the top of the swing, leading to poor strikes of the golf ball.

With his two simple drills, one of which is derived from Pete Cowan, Steve gives you the correct tips to practice your right shoulder turn to become a more successful ball striker.
