Effective Practice Series - Technical Practice

By: Emga (East Midlands Golf Academy) | Tue 22 Aug 2017 | Comments ()

Changing or working on different technical aspects of your golf swing can be incredibly challenging and frustrating if the outcome of your shots is either bad or inconsistent. This tends to cause lots of golfers problems and they stop working on technical points a coach or head pro has told them.

However, Steve Astle believes that when working on technical aspects of a golf swing the outcome of your shots should be ignored. The most importat part of this process revolves around successfully completiting the technical thoughts or ideas you have been told to work on.

By working hard on technical thoughts alone, the outcome of your golf swing and golf shots will naturally improve along with it.
