Society Managed Account
Using the Society feature to create and manage multi accounts
The following information will walk you through using the society feature to create and manage multi user accounts.
Administration of user accounts
The society facilities allows you to create your own society where you can access and easily see performance of all your golf buddies. It is also possible to create society competitions with upto 12 people competing. The society feature gives access to society message board, member list, member performance overview, competitions and leaderboard.
We have now added a new facility that allows you to create addtionally golfscoretracker accounts within your society that the administrator of the society can have full control of and add rounds for. This new feature allows the administrator to also enter rounds for society members who may not have access to a computer or the internet.

Any new accounts you create can only be managed by the administrator. It is not possible to login to these accounts from the normal login page. All accounts created are standard accounts which allows unlimited rounds for multiple golf courses, advanced round tracking is not available for these accounts. Golf handicaps will be tracked and you are still able to access round performance for any rounds added for the multi account.
The following image shows confirmation that you are the administrater of a golf society.
Once you access the society page the administrator will see the following menu system, where they can administer the society. See the addtional items available to society administrators.
From the user management link, you can create new accounts..
You are then able to add a new account that you will control from your own account within the society.
Administration of user accounts
Once you have added a few accounts, these will be available from the user management link again..
You can carry out the following functions on users that you control from this page :
- List the users rounds
- User maintenance
ie handicap report, backup etc. Coming soon ! - View user profile

- Edit user details

- Delete user from golfscoretracker system

Once you have created the new accounts you can then start adding rounds. This is done in exactly the same way as entering your rounds, all you need to do is specify the golf player in the player A dropdown.
As long as the golf handicap track feature is available, any golf rounds you add will automaticall have the golf handicap tracked. Golf handicap reports for these users will be available soon, currently you can see performance for the society members reports which is available from the members link in the society section, this shows month by month information of golf rounds and golf handicap performance.
Editing rounds is done in exactly the same way, although you will need to select the users rounds from the user management page as described above. For more information on adding rounds cclick here
You can also create competitions, either within the society or not. The users will automatically be able to participate in competition once created. For more information on creating golf competitions click here
