Group/society administration

The Golf group / society administrator can do the following from the admin section :

Only the Society Administrator(s) can add or update the Society home page. To do this login to the society account and click on ADMIN.


 

  1. To enter a group logo upload an image to your computer and click Browse in box 1 above and click submit.
  2. To delete your group logo click on box 2 above and then click submit.
  3. To enter or amend your group name enter the name in box 3 and click submit.
  4. To enter or amend your groups location use the county drop down box in box 4 and click submit.
  5. To enter introductory text for your group add it to the text box below box 5 and click submit.
  6. To enter a group photo upload the image to your computer and then click on the browse box in box 6 and click submit.
  7. To delete a group photo click on box 7 above and then click on submit.

The Right hand box contains many quick links and a lot of helpful information.

Set Society Privacy settings

Click on Admin then Config/layout (highlighted below) and then Access Options (shown below)

You then have 3 secuirty levels you can choose:

  1. Site Public - allows any existing golfshake member to join your group
  2. Auto Approve Group Requests - Administrators have to accept members of golfshake.com to join the group
  3. Public Access - allows anyone who is or is not a member of golfshake.com to join your group.

To delete your society

Click on Config/Layout in the Admin Tab and then Click on "Click to delete your society".

Click on "Manage Golfshake Members" and click on the x next to the member name.

Group Member - How to leave a group or society

Click on "My Groups" and scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will see the option to delete yourself from a group:
