Round Authentication Guide

You can now get your mates to approve and authenticate your rounds which adds additional validity to your handicap and allows your rounds to be entered into any Virtual Events that run on the golfshake.com site.

Requesting Authentication 

The 'Add Round' system now allows for an additional step when adding your scorecards you simple select to get one of your mates to authenticate your round.

Sending a Request

You then simple select an existing buddy or a mate not currently using the site and the site will send them notification to approve your round.

Viewing Status of Round

You can then view the authenication for any round from the round view page or the round snapshot.

or view directly from the links with the 'Score Tracker' section and from the Round index where you will find a list of the round waiting to be authenticated and any round you need to authenticate.  Your buddies will also see an alert when they log in if they need to approve your rounds.

Showing the Status

The Round Snapshot page then shows the buddies you have requested to authenticate your round and the status. 

Authenticating a Round already added into the system

Simple view your round or snapshot, click the 'Authenticate Rounds' icon and select the link at the bottom to send an authentication request.  You can do this for any rounds already in the system or ask further buddies to approve your rounds.
