Adding members to a golf group or society
There are 2 options for golfers to be members of your groups and 3 ways to add them to your golf group or society.
Option 1 - 'Online Managed' accounts - these are accounts you create from the admin section and you fully control and maintain
Option 2 - Golfshake members - alternatively you can invite new or existing members who are registered on Golfshake to be part of your group.
Access: Admin > Group Members

Online Managed Member Accounts
Group administrators can create unlimited 'online managed' accounts for people who may not wish to login to Golfshake.com or create an account. These accounts are controlled and administered by the group administrator.
These accounts are still fully functional and are part of your group. You can add them to a competition, add individual rounds, maintain a handicap, upload player photos and descriptions and compare stats. Options available include:
- Viewing the golfer profile, rounds & stats
- Editing the profile; name, nickname, photo thumbnail
- Deletion of account
- Maintenance of account; handicap adjustment, converting to full account
To create & manage: Admin > Group Members > Online Managed (for information on converting accounts click here)

Golfshake members and additional management options
The 'Golfshakers' link will allow you to search for existing Golfshake.com members and add them to your golf group. From here you can also accept requests to join your group.
The 'View All Members' link will show all current members of your group. The small icon denotes 'online managed' accounts.
The 'Invite Friends' option will allow you to send an email to your golf buddies who are not already members of Golfshake. Once they join the site they will automatically be added to your golf buddies and your golf group and you will receive notification.
