Afternoon all, bored at work, got me wondering... What is the greatest/most outrageous/flukiest shot anyone has ever done? Mine would be the 17th at Heaton park, pitching in from a blind spot at the bottom of a plateau in the rough for a birdie. Couldn't even see the pin, never mind the green!

Never done a flukey shot - meant them all! Actually it has to be my 65ft putt last week - just off the green but thought I would use the putter any way - must have gone over 3 'breaks' and turned 40 degrees. I tried to retain a cool exterior, but was going mental inside. The rest of my round confirmed to my playing partners that it had indeed been a very lucky shot!

was about 3 years ago. playing a par 3, missed my tee shot left of the green and had to chip over a bunker. Hit my lob wedge thin and ball went right over the gree and over the bunker on the other side. So I had the same shot again. Hit my lob wedge thin "again" was travelling at 100 mph over the bunker  at 3 feet high, hit the flag pole smack in the middle and dropped straight down into the hole for a par 3.

mine was a second shot into a par 5, pulled my shot a little and was heading for a green side bunker. My ball hit the bunker rake and popped up and onto the green. I missed the eagle putt but did get a birdie. yeshttp://www.golfshake.com/scripts/ckeditor362/plugins/smiley/images/thumbs_up.gif

mine is actually 2 shots in a row on the par 5, 506 yard 5th at Foxhills (longcross)

Off the tee i was 30 yards left in the air and looking well and truly lost in the heavy tree line before bouncing straight right off a branch and back onto the fairway.

Second shot with 3 iron had the length but was again at least 30 yards wide of the green to the left. This time it hit a trunk about 3 foot up (saved it going ob ) shot straight right again about a foot off the ground, through a green side bunker, hitting the lip nicely to take the pace off it and rolled out to about 10 feet below the pin !!

I made the eagle putt on a shot hole to score 5 truly undeserved points !!!!!!

This game is easy.
