Nerves are good. They generate from excitement.

i dont get nerves the only thing that will annoy me on the 1st tee is if you is wating about for the group in frount of you to hurry up so you can tee off the longer i wait to play a shot the less chance i have on hitting a good shot for sore reasion

I always get nervous around the turn if I've had a good front 9. Mainly because I know the implosion is going to happen at some point!

I do still get a littler nervous...purely because of a fat or top. All I am after is a good connection!

Not really anymore, just a few tingles.  Nothing can ever really compare to teeing off in the first group at the North v South with 80 or so people watching.  Knee shakes and everything...

Not usually. Depends on the competition I guess. I'm conscious that there are people watching but whatever happens, happens.

I suffer with my nerves so I've always shy'd away from Comps or playing with new people, but recently I've returned to playing after an 18 month gap and I've got a new attitude towards golf it all its called - F**k em and hit it!

Sometimes i get a thumping behind my eyes just like my heart beat is coming out of my eyes, this usually happens on the first tea when every1 is watching and also some putts where i am concentrating really hard. only happens when i play in society days when alot of people are waiting to tea of behind me. i like it in a way though because it makes me want to win more and concentrate even harder.

My nerves tend to be when I'm headed into the last few holes of a matchplay with only a hole or so in it!! Those holes where every shot counts.

Still have the odd butterfly if in the first group of a society comp too and probs will when walking up to the white tees for the first medal of the year

I do get slightly nervous but I have learnt to control the nerves, Try not to think about the people watching or the possible results, take some deep breaths and  focus on putting a good swing on the shot and the result will take care of it self, if you can put all your focus on your routine and swing then you should forget about the situation,

The greater the ability, the lesser the nerves.
