Cheers Tim, the Ap2's haven't been out yet, was supposed to play today but the wifes not too well so babysitting duty!  Might try and get out to the range later. MB's you'll be fine with them lets hope weve both still got them in the bag for the 2012 NVS

What that doesn't show is that I have been down to 14.7 (again) and got back to 15.1 again today!!!  Considering I'm making some swing changes at the moment, I'm not too disappointed with that

I don't have any stats to back it up, but I am getting undoubtedly worse as each week goes by.

Started the year at 15.3 & was getting worse so I decided to change my coach, get custom fitted & I haven't looked back as my handicap is at an all time low! Will be changing to a new club in March so this may change as I settle in.

This has been a dissapointing year for my game personally, highlights , runner up in GS open and our 2 & 3 teams  winning thier divisions and securing promotion and our 1st's staying up in the premiere league in therir first year there. Hoping to reverse the graph below next year if i can stay fit and get more golf time.

For some reason graph won't load tidy, basically hcp raised fron 9.4 in Aprill 2011 to 10.5 Oct 2011

 

 

Dave, has your beer to golf ratio gone up as well?

Pretty disappointing for me, but I'm struggling to find out why.  Well, I do know why, I've been hitting fairways but can't hit greens - I just can't figure out what's wrong with my ball striking.  Hopefully the lessons will start to take effect and then I can start to knock shots off.

I didn't really start recording my rounds until the start of the year, but i am certainly happier with my overall game compared to this time last year. I just need to get the driving, irons, and putting to all work on the same day, which is something that generally doesn't want to happen!

Still, if we didn't think that it could happen "next time" then I guess there would be far more second hand clubs on ebay than there are

I actually started the year around a 32 Hcap but played lots of 9 hole rounds and spent alot of time working on various parts of my game and "tinkering" with my clubs, playing with shaft options, grips and thickness and of course lie angles.

So an 8.2 drop thats nae bad at all!

Had a fantastic latter half of the year, helped by new clubs and some time off work to practise. Hoping 2012 will be a consolidation of playing off mid-teens handicap, so that the 3/4 good rounds that lowered my handicap weren't a flash in the pan.
