Hi,

I started playing golf last month. I began on a local par 3 course and played my first 18 this week, went round in 107, don't know how bad that is for a first effort? I have had one lesson and am having my second today. At 49 years old some say I have left it too late to start but I love it and have a good few years in me yet!

Anyway, I live in surrey, in the Redhill/Reigate area and am looking for someone to play golf with, I have left messages on here for a couple of people and done likewise on another site but no-one has replied as yet so I thought I would try this forum. Any help would be very much appriciated.

107 isnt a bad start, we have all started somewhere, my first 18 was 117. ;-)

generally saturdays but we will be doing some mid week games looking at old thornes and heaver castle for midweek to start with, leave us some info on the web site and we will see what we can do

I've left my contact info on the website, I'm a member at Puttenham and play most weekends hence the previous question.Are there any places left for the 3rd Sept as not playing at Puttenham that Saturday?
