Has anyone purchased equipment from the Greg Nicholson Golf site? If so, can you give some feed back on speed of delivery etc.

I would not normally bother going to this effort, but I thought I should bring this to the attention of online (golf) consumers - avoid Greg Nicholson like the plague.

The service has been amazingly poor and I would not use this company again if it was the last golf shop on God's green earth.

Very unprofessional, took WEEKS to refund my money and only did so after several reminders: do not believe a single promise they make to you: just empty words.

They advertise equipment they do not stock, take an age to deliver (when they persuade you to accept an alternative) and do not care at all about customer satisfaction......it could of course just be that I had a bad experience, but it lasted WEEKS and WEEKS.

Use any other golf shop for your own sanity and peace of mind.

Just for complete clarity, Greg Nicholson the person is a really nice man, my comments are solely aimed to reflect the service I received from his business.

In defence of Greg himself, he did provide a superior driver to the one I ordered, but as it was unsuitable and so I returned it.

My conclusions are that when you are a (successful) small fish, you really need to work that much harder with customers than the big boys (and their big budgets) .......and if this means good (better) communication, then that's what it takes......do not over promise and under deliver :-(

Used them when I lived nearby. Never ever again. And I had words with the owner and didn't find him the least bit pleasant to deal with.

Iron head snapped at the bottom of the hosel first time out. His idea of a replacement was to give me a 2nd hand iron that didn't match the set. He wouldn't take a matching iron out of another set, nor get one from the manufacturer nor refund the price of the set.

Google for reviews and you'll find many sites slating the service he gives.

"The staff on the telephone gave me the advice of which loft & shaft to go for"

Custom fitting by phone. Now there's a neat trick!  Makes you wonder why the pro's pay out £20+k for a Trackman when you can just use a phone.

Mr Cullen, you've ordered from Nicholsons 3 times and had 1st service. Delivery within 48hrs.

A question, why mail order when you live in Manchester, i.e. where Nicholson's store is?

Epic fail!!!
