I've run a GS event to the Algarve for the past 4 years and up til this year used Golf Amigos (www.golfamigos.co.uk)  and would recommend this company.

I am using Your Golf Travel this year (2011) as they came in cheaper but I think most companies are pretty much the same.

Personal preference I think.

I would also suggest using Golfbreaks.com, who are our travel partner here on Golfshake.com.

They have helped me organise many Golfshake events in the past and I know that they give some great rates and a good level of service.

Have used yourgolftravel twice - once for a uk weekend break and once for a week in the Algarve. Very knowledgeable (the guy I dealt with anyway), helped us get just what we wanted and at a very good price.

Ian,

I've just come back from La Manga after a 3 day trip. I booked it through Golfbreaks.com. As an existing member of Golfshake I got a discount which other companies couldn't match.

Very proefessional service & very well organised. Will be using them next year.

There is a couple of places here that i have used before to stay in the Jerez area which is close to some nice courses (sherry golf is 10 mins away) ...have a look at the Jerez apartments , we really enjoyed staying there as its right in the old town centre close to some lovely old bars and restaurants and Simon who runs it is a really helpful guy
