Hi, Does anyone know of a good pro in the South East? I live in Gravesend, Kent and want to get some more lessons but wondered if anyone had any recommendations. Cheers, Richard |

The problem here Richard is that what one person says is a good coach may not be what you consider to be a good coach. It's a shame the pro's don't do trial lesson at a reduced fee so that you can see how you get along with each one. Russ |

Hi Richard, I have a good friend at Redlibbets GC called Phil Beever, good player with lots of knowledge. Another guy is Gavin Lingard at Poult Wood. |

Thanks guys. I know what you are saying Russ that one pro might be great for a certain player but not all players. I have had some lessons previously at my local driving range and although there wasn't anything too wrong with the pro I took my lessons with I just didn't feel that we clicked. I guess I didn't really know what I was after so it was probably partly my fault but as I am after further instruction just thought I'd see if there were any recommendations. Redlibbets GC isn't too far from me Steve so I will give some thought to your suggestion, I guess you don't know until you try. I only live up the road from Mid Kent Golf Club and a friend of mine is a member there and said the assistant pro was good so might try that. |
