Has I haven't been playing much golf due to my work commiments. I've decided to take the plunge and finally join a golf course (after 15+ years playing golf). It's nice and local, a smart 9 holes designed by James Baird in 1890.

The thing is, I have to go for an interview on Thursday night. What sort of things will they ask me? I hope they dont ask me to play the first hole, I always have a nightmare there.

It will just be a meet and greet, Danny.

Nothing to worry about. They won't ask you to play.

All they will do is explain things about the club. Give details of the comps. Tell you how to get your handicap etc. etc

Well done, Danny, a very nice course and club. You have made the right decision. Onwards and upwards from now.

Many moons ago, Danny, but this is what golf should be - a premium on accuracy over length. Your game will improve no end playing here, you mark my words.

You are the big boy, Danny, and yes I would love to get over for a game sometime. A bit different from Pedham, I would think.
