Just got myself an electric golf trolley and need a little advice, the trolley is a recondidtioned unit, so no instructions lol, my query is, is it safe to turn the control off when going downhills or will this affect the gears/battery of the trolley ?

you shouldn't have any problem free wheeling, saveing a little battery power for later is always a good thing.

I agree with Alan, free wheeling isn't an issue with power trollies. Quite fancy one myself. The old back is getting tired of pulling my manual one. Maybe my wife will read this and treat me at Xmas ...... then again, probably not

60 euros, for a reconditioned Power Bug, so far it has been superb, climbing the steepest hills with ease, given my local course is Castlereagh HILLS, thats some achievement lol
