Promoting the community live chat

Any thoughts on how to make this more active ?

At present hit and miss if anyone is actually online.  Would you like a facebook replication with the chat box sitting in the bottom right hand corner or planned times when people are online in the live chat ?

A  facebook replication would be far easier than it is at the moment.

Darren,

I know nothing about technical computer terms and how you make things work.

What I do know though is that Long Drivers of America www.longdrivers.com  occasionally put someone significant  on-line in their chat room at a pre-advertised time then golfers flood in with their questions and chat.

Apologies if I am stating the obvious but I am a baby with regard to such issues.

Sanders, yep been discussed and was one of the very reasons for testing the live chat

I'd go with the chat in the corner idea - easy to use and easy to see.

I still like the idea of asking someone for a private chat, can get hard when your replying to 8+ members

yes James but trying to hold 8 conversations when I'm a bloke (contrary to thoughts of others) and not a TYPIST is bloody  flippin hard
