Found a bridgestone E7+ few weeks back and played it yesterday in our pairs competition.

What a great ball, distance and feel around the green was really good.

The ball decides it was better than me though and on the 15th hid in the bushes until I had gone but it left me very impressed with him....

So there ya go - gone but not forgotten.....

Robbie mate, keep up with forum we/I have been banging on how good the Bridgestone balls are on here for a few years now. Having played with you i would suggest you try out the Bridgestone Theosoft. It would compliment your swing speed and are very good around the greens, and are the least expensive in the Briddgy range,JP,Martin M regularly put them into play and I found them a decent ball but prefer the RX model,Kev Hewitt is the E7+ fan amongst us and is his gamer ball.

That's interesting Robbie. I haven't noticed one of those yet during  my ball scavanging expeditions, between shagbags. I'll look out for one.

Since my earlier post regarding differences in ball distances, yesterday on the practice ground I started to note down which balls were flying the longest off my 8 iron.

I noted that the balls bearing words such as 'ultra long' did in fact fair significantly better on average.  Titleist balls were hot, and my favourite ball was the Titleist 'PTS Distance' which consistently exploded off the face with a great feel, but without  the ultra hard feel of a professional Longdrive ball such as Pinnacle 'Longdrive.' Likely now discountinued as most top golf equipment always is in the marketing of new products phrenzy?

The one I tested was also yellow which I love. I like playing with a yellow ball as I spot my ball immediately as few other golfers seem to use them.

When I next have the funds to play serious golf again, rest assured every ball in my bag will be the same brand whatever it is!

Wayne,

Once I begin to crave normaility that is possibly the time to roll over and die.

Who muttered "That would be good?!"

Dave,

Gee. And to think that I deleted my post about female Chinese golfers because the level of decorum here is so very high!

I will keep a look out for more of these Dave..They are good mate...

Sanders: Any good balls in my bag are generally found balls so usually I have an assortment when I play but to be fair I do try to maybe have 4 of the same kind if ball finds allow which, are usually srixon ad333's for some reason..

Any pro v1 finds are passed to my partner Tony....
