Hi all,  While playing a chip from a downslope yesterday evening I heard a nasty clunk. Checking the sole of my club there is now a nasty chip in the sole of my mizuno mx forged wedge as it had struck a piece of flint lurking just under the grass. Can these type of flaws be repaired? It's on the sole so only cosmetic but still annoying and will affect value should I be tempted to change it in the future. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi David, If you have a file just smooth it out with that, or get your local pro to do it. Happens all the time, usually in bunkers.

Many thanks for your help lads, will try the file treatment and have a much closer look at the lie on these banks in future!
