Hi everyone, this is my first post. Can anybody help? I would like to know if it is difficult to re-grip your own clubs or is it better to get a proshop to do them? Kev Walker H/cap 17 from Dover Kent. |

I cannot imagine it being that hard to do it yourself, but it's like most things in life, it's easy if you've got the right tools. Why don't you have a go at re-gripping an old club first just to see how it turns out! Russ |

My local pro shop at the manor gc regrip them for free you just pay for the grips. usually between £4 and £6 per club. So why do it yourself? I just got all my clubs regripped with jumbo lamkins for £40 all in. |

I regripped mine in January and did my dads clubs two weeks ago. It's easy! All you need is a bit of elbow grease! The most difficult part is getting the old grips off. Get a good stanly blade and cut the grip from bottom to top on both sides, ie cut the grip in half. Then strip it off from the bottom. After that, follow the instructions in the vid above. You can get grips and tape on ebay for less than £15. Buy them and use the rest of your cash to get on your local course! |
