I have been trying to enter competition results for our first society outing today. I appear to have been able to enter my own score ok on the first attempt. I then tried to enter the next competitor's score and it won't allow it. But it did enter it against the wrong competitor twice. I was then able to enter the correct score for this third competitor but it won't let me delete the scores wrongly attributed to him. As administrator for the group I would have expected this to be trouble free and when problems occur I should be able to correct them without any difficulty. Am I missing a trick here and doing something fundamentally wrong? regards Norman |

hi m8 in the create event did you put in that you will be putting scores in, if you haven't each individual will have to, or just re create the event and then put scores in |

| Yes - I did set it up so that I could put the scores in and I have eventually managed it. But I can't delete the scores that it wrongly put against one of the players. There doesn't appear to be a delete facility. |

Hi Norman i have found the way to input your players scores via the golfshake system a bit of a pain. i tried it several times & it kept going wrong for me too! In the end i just make the grids via excell or word & then import them to golfshake via the group blogs pages. I generally just copy & paste them in. Some issues with sizing, but generally this is much easier to do. I also find it easier this way to keep updating as an when our golf society plays. If you want to have a butchers google the crown golf society anstey leicester or view via golf shake. you may have to go back to last years archives to see the results tables etc. hope this helps?
thank you dave preston |

| I have to say in all honesty creating an event and leaving the set up for you as a single body to enter all the cards per 3/4 ballers as no problem at all - cannot quite grasp what you guys may be doing wrong ??????? |

Hi Darren Do you think that your fixes will address my specific issue about being able to delete erroneous rounds the system has recorded against a player in a group. regards Norman p.s. I have cracked it! I deleted the competition which allowed me to unlock the troublesome rounds and then delete them. I then re-created the competition and added the rounds again after the event. It all seemed to work fine this time |
