looking to purchase a new stand bag, which of the two makes are the best.

Well now, you pay your money and make your choice, Robert.

 

Sun Mountain are meant to be the best you can buy. I bought one as I was fed up with buying inferior products. Mine is 2 years old and still as good as new. The previous Sun Mountain lasted me 7 years. Whereas I would no doubt have gone through  several cheaper bags by now.

No doubt somebody else will come along and say Ogio, or even recommend another brand

Had an Ogio briefly, never really liked it - not sure why, balance just didn't feel right for me.  Must say I do like my Nike bag though (and so do a few others by the amount I've seen this winter), with the added advantage of when the stitching falls apart again this time next year I'll just exchange it for a new one....

Robert , IMO Sunmountian everytime for quality, but nowt wrong with Ogio. ( just went a bit northern there ,where's the mouthwash?)
