I normally play on Fridays, but because of half term I've swapped this Friday to Monday. Anyone around the area fancy a game. normally tee off at about 10:30 but can be flexible.

Anywhere around Blakes / The Hertfordshire / Whitehills / Panshanger etc etc

Matt, I'm playing at Risebridge Golf Center on Monday, with a tee time of 10:30am.

Feel free to join me.

Hi Russ, can you drop me your number either by text or on a PM and I'll give you a call when I get there tomorrow.

Looks like rain - Are you playing whatever the weather - let me know if you decide to give it a miss.

Sorry Matt, been busy updating the Priors Winter League tables after today's game.

I've sent you my mobile number by PM.

As long as it's not really heavy rain I'll be playing.  We can always give it half an hour if it's bad and take it from there.

They don't have a practice ground at Risebridge but they do have a driving range, it's not the best I've used but I'll be down there hitting some balls before I go out.

See you tomorrow.

Russ

Did you get out in the end? It hasn't stopped snowing here this morning

Yes Matt, three of us played.

Light rain for the first four holes then it stopped.

Started to rain again on the 8th fairway and by the time we'd reached the green it had turned into sleet.

Stopped off for our free bacon butty after nine holes and when we came out again the sleet had stopped, and it didn't rain/sleet again.

Due to all the rain earlier the putting was a bit of a lottery, but the course was playable.

Not bad either, £10 for a round of golf which included a bacon butty.

Russ
