The cost of 18 holes coffee and bacon roll is £27.50

Tee time provisionally booked for 11.30

Space available for 16 players.

If anybody is interested i WILL need a deposit, as the course requires a 25% non refundable deposit by 18th February.  £10 deposit required, by 16th February.

No deposit, you don't play. No excuses.

I'm not putting this on the events page, because of previous problems.

As long as the rough is not as thick as his moustache we'll be OK.

At your level David i would have thought you would be finding the fairways and greens with 75% of your shots????

Rough shouldn't come into it

Santo - I would say that I am hitting more than 75% of fairways but GIR and putting is letting me down. My course management is improving.

PW - Hero shots!!! - Last time we played I can recall 2 that I played (and pulled off!!) Cheeky sod!

Extremely tough course especially in bad weather which we played it in - the rough becomes un-playable in the wet. Suggest you wait for good weather before venturing out on this very difficult course

Oaks course is absolutely superb in the summer and a bit wet and wild in the winter. The acorns is a really nice little 9 hole with some interesting holes. Its nice to play the 9 in the morning and the 18 in the afternoon.

The course and facilities are superb, so good we have become members ! You can not fault the challenge the oaks course presents especially on the gold tees at 7300 yeards, the 9 hole acorns also looks to provide a consistent challenge and the club is a far happier one with the new ownership in place.

Work and live in Exmouth and Mmy Society has corporate membership. Wild in the winter and very wet but in the dry it is a fabulous course with fast greens and plenty of water hazards

After playing Woodbury, the Abbey will be a walk in the Park

Not too long now before I hand you the trophy, Scarlet

O.K.   Today is the day I have to confirm the booking and pay the deposit.

So far we have 8 confirmed. They have kindly offered me 3 tee time slots, so there are places for 4 more players. But I have to know for certain if anybody else wants to join us, by this Friday.

It's a truly sensational course...

Good organisation Davina, 2 minutes between getting your bacon roll and coffee and supposedly being on the tee 10 minutes before your alloted time

I barred myself when I found out he was organising it.

The reason you haven't got many players for this event is you don't have the top billing that only I can bring.

Frankly don't know how the game of golf is surviving at all, what with me and Tiger making ourselves unavailable

Haven't got many players?

If you notice the list, it's the top echelon of the Golfshake elite taking part.

Most of whom are going to take apart the North team on 12th April
