The "Dave's Balls Sweepstake Shot Guessing Thing Trophy* 2010"!!

Unfortunately, after a high profile embarressing incident involving my car and my neighbour's wheelie bin, Srixon have pulled out of their sponsorship deal. Thankfully Wilson Staff need the publicity and have jumped at the chance to align themselves with such an auspicious competition.

So here's the rules for those few who may not know what the hell I'm talking about:

Registration is open from today until 6pm Sunday 17th January 2010.

Each Golfshake member is allowed one guess as to how many shots I will play with my 12 lovely new Dx2 Soft Wilson Staff balls(courtesy of Today's Golfer again!) until they are all lost.

Additionally, the first twelve members who post a guess will have their name inscribed on each of the balls.

The member with the nearest guess after I've lost the last one will be declared the winner and presented with the Dave's Balls Ball of Champions (venue to be decided)

Whether the winning guess is above or below the actual number is irrelevant. It is the nearest guess to the final total that counts.

The member whose ball lasts the longest will also win a special mystery prize!

Just to give you an idea, last years final total was 1027 (won by Paul Hudson). The previous winner (Wayne Santorini) won with a guess of 913.
