So are you doing anything special for Christmas whilst on the golf course?

At CGL, with our second game in the winter league being played on the 19th, 6 days before Christmas, have decided to liven the course up a bit.

So, we are having a special prize, for the best dressed golf trolley out on the course!

Just imagine....

You are not playing well, but someone in your group has already scored 40 points by the 9th hole!

Then take up the stance for yet another eagle putt........

They pull the putter back.........

And then.........

"Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way" starts playing from someones golf trolley!

They miss the putt, but the rest of the group are in tears of laughter!

So any other things planned for your final game of golf before Christmas?

Our clubs already had its festive competition, the last Saturday in November.

I though am looking forward to actually Playing Christmas Day. Its a tradition I started back in 06 when I first started playing. I always get up Christmas Day and get out to the course, aiming to tee-off about 7:30. I can usually get 27 or 36 holes in on my own before I see another soul. They tend to be my bosses who come out for a family game before they retreat for Turkey Dinners and lots of Alcohol. I after playing head home for Dinner with the family and then can look forward to unwrapping my presents in the afternoon.

Well Wayne what can I say, I'm not 5 years old anymore so waking up at 4:30am to open presents, just isn't tolerated anymore. Besides how can I wake up at 4:30am when I haven't even got to bed at that time?
