Oversized clubs?

I bought oversized clubs when I was in my teens (When I first took up the game 10 years ago) because in my ignorance I assumed they'd suit me because I was tall.

But I've learned since that it's somethinf to do with the head size and sweet-spot size.

Can anyone explain the advantages and disadvantes of oversize clubs, and should I move to normal now that my hanicap is falling?

Sorry!

I'm new and I've still to calculate it on this site, but I've calculated it on another site at 23, my wee iPhone app tells me its 20, so I suppose its around that area.

I've recenty taken the game up again after 10 years out, so I'm looking to join a society next season and I'll have abetter idea then.
