Hi, I played today scoring 40 points which I was extremely happy with. I was looking forward to seeing how much my handicap would be cut by but it hasn't moved. I was playing a par 70 course with SSS 66. Someone I was playing with thought it would be cut by about 2.4. Can anyone tell me how it is worked out and what I would needed to have scored to get a cut? Cheers. |

Handicaps are based on the SSS. So whilst you shot 94 the SSS was a lot lower than the Par at 66 of which the diff is 28 and thus your handicap.

| Thanks Darren. Guess I'll have to try a bit harder. |

Richard, the Priors course does catch many people out with having a par of 70, but a SSS of 66 from the yellow tees. See me at next months game and I'll explain to you how you can calculate any handicap reductions. Russ |
