Today I had the pleasure of welcoming both David and James Marshall to my club for a very nice competitive game, off the whites with some of my friends.

Needless to say, the moneygrabbers tried their very best to take the dosh, but David lost it on countback. Nice round David, a gross 79, which, I might add equalled the score that Stuart Govan did on the Waterloo.

My driving was at its best, I think I did manage to hit one 100 yards, the rest were always in trouble somewhere.

OK...Next time we will play on the Waterloo. I'm not having Govan getting the better of me. Or better still, get him there next time and we will do battle together.

And you hit it more than 100 yards...You rogue

Thanks again John

Pick the right day and I'll come over and show you what to do!!!

I'll find most balls in even the longest rough, can fish balls out of the deepest water and every now and again I'll play some golf!

John P-you will be pleased to know the guy I played with today, was using a Topflite Z-Balata.  It made me think of you.

I gave him a tonking, so that proves the ball is no good-only joking.  He quite likes the ball, so there you go.  It's all personal taste!

Aren't most things down to personal taste, Matt?

Each to their own, and good on em. I say
