New to this forum, I like what I see. I'm headed out to play golf today. We have a

phenomena in Seattle, the temp is 90 degrees. The ball actually bounces on the fairway. Normally we hit our drives, dig it out of the mud, wipe it off, and hit it again

Paul, do you not watch Grey's Anatomy?? They only get something like 5 completely dry days a year!

Seriously!

(I watch it cos the missus does... )

Edit - Welcome Chuck, don't be offended if I've got that wrong!

No I dont watch it Lee, nor does my wife

That must be a pain playing winter rules throughout the year. But at least the greens must be able to hold a pitch shot ok.

Thank all of you for the warm welcome. Seattle isn’t quite as bad as I described it, we do get 3 or 4 dry month a year. It is challenging to make the adjustments in your game; I was hitting an 8 iron 150 yards the other day. That same shot only goes 130 in the winter. Cold heavy air and wet lies make a lot of difference. I’ll bet some of our UK golfers know what I’m talking about.
