talking to your ball

Posted by: user119312 | Sun 24th May 2009 17:22 | Last Reply

i nearly allways talk to my ball

weather it is telling it to come round off the tee

or telling it to bite while goin on to the green

or telling it to slow down or get a shift on while putting

i was just wondering if anybody else did this

and weather you think it is a bit strange

Hi Alex

no you are not alone in talking to your ball, im sure nearly everyone does it and i will even go as far as to say we also talk to our opponents balls as well

i have just got back from the CGL event 1 at Aldwark manor a nice course in tip top condition complimented by the finest of weather conditions

and all of my group talked to thier own balls as well as talking to each others

so if it is strange then so be it

I also talk to my 3 wood and tell it if it does'nt strike the ball better this time its going back in the garage, some times it even works! although not often enough.

I am known to talk to me ball every now and again!

The usual things.

I always pay for the 'Listening balls', you know the ones that bounce left when you want them too.....

They cost a bit more than your normal golf balls but they are worth every penny.

Alex you only have to really worry when the ball answers back

Darren, helluva drive that yesterday winning the long drive prize. I would have thought divine intervention (as well as talking to the ball and your skill) played a part.

Yeah Alex, I talk to my ball all the time.  My problem though is I think the last batch I got were made in China as they don't seem to be able to understand a word I'm saying.  Either that or they are chosing to ignore me...
