Hi all, Me and some pals are off to the Algarve on a Golf break in August. We are landing at Faro, but need to get to Vilamoura. There are no transfers included in our package so was wandering what's the best way to go about sorting transport? Is it best to try and book something in advance via one of the transfer websites or would we be better off trying to get able to get a big enough taxi for four people with golf gear when we get there? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Cheers. |

The courses are that spread out that a Car would be a good idea. |

Thanks david, perhaps I should have explained better. I'm only after finding the best way to get to our resort from the airport and back again once we return. The courses we are playing are all not far from the hotel/appts and there are shuttle busses/taxis laid on for trips to the courses. |

Chris. If you pay my flight costs and accomodation, I'll take you to your resort and back again after. No problem. Oh and chuck a couple of rounds of golf in for me too and i'll show you the best places to eat as well |

Sorry Chris, didn't understand that you were not going to drive when down there. I use a company based in Alicante Spain for all our transfers including when we go to Orlando. They just take your details and provide all types of vehicle. http://www.a2btransfers.com/ David |

Thanks David (L), just what I was after. David (M), sounds like a great deal, I'll even pick you up and return you home Wayne - I'm trying to work out a way to pitch it to the family (Algarve 2010) - will have to get creative. |

The cost of a non player is £100 less than quoted price, and the weather is great just ask anyone that went last time or even previous years You know you want to join |

Cheers for the tip Dave, we used A2B last week in the Algarve and they were spot on...waiting for us at the airport and early for the return pickup. Local drivers friendly and mini buses fully aircon'd. |

but we have minibus/cars in with the price so need to worry about what we do to get to the hotel, also we are free to organise early tee times that may not fit in with the shuttle times, I know of a group that were being run to a course at 8:15am arriving there at 8:30 but didn't tee off until 10:45 !!!!!!!

but have to say there is only 2 weeks left, once the date has passed (5th June) tee times will have been booked and although there is nothing stopping you from still joining us, getting you onto the group tee time is the problem and I'm sure you wouldn't want to play at a different time to everyone else, that is part of the fun and banter.
