Im looking to get one or possibly 2 hybryds to replace my 3 and 4 iron. and i want to do it right and get the best club out there for me. But is it possible to get custom fit for theses? as there not as expencive as a set of irons or a driver? where would i go to get it done, as most pro shops only have a selected few makes. Im from the north east |

Matt, you cant get fitted the for hybrids the way you can for irons. However going in to try the clubs, you should be able to make sure you are getting the right type of shaft and lofts. They can change the lengths, and grips, but thats about it, and unless you are overly tall or short it wont need doing really. For a 3 and 4 rescue, you are looking at 21 and 24 degrees on average, but obviously every manfacturer differs in spec. And from the sounds of things, Direct Golf is the place for Adams. As a recommendation i would suggest looking at Ping G10's. They come with three different types of shafts as standard, ones a high launch, ones a low launch, and one is in the middle. So depending on your ball flight, thats the easiest way to get a suitable shaft. |
