This will be the 3rd consecutive year, details are on the events links and pricing will be available around Apr/May, but don't expect it to be above £350 for the Package, flights will be extra.

There are many people who are due to go on the 2009 event in 4 weeks that also went on the first one, so sound them out as to how they felt about the venue/courses/cost/weather!!!!!!!!!!!

We've all got used to you now Tim at all the events you've been at, so we're pretty tolerant already

You have to be pretty damn tolerant with him Wayne considering he always plays a blinder and walks away with a top 3 prize!

Shall I do everyone a favour and put my name down now then David M won't come?!

In fairness his handicap is dropping Stuart, although not as quick as it should and I'd be the last one to call him a B*N**T!!!!!!

No doubt you'll be sticking your's down once your back from this one then???

Don't worry about Davina, even LORNA beat him on the last trip

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE WELCOME TO TAKE NON-PLAYING PARTNERS, (cost for those will be approx £100 less than golfer price) THEY DO NOT FORM PART OF THE 32 MAXIMUM PARTICIPATION.

Any queries at all either call me or pm and i will assist in any way i can.

Just like to put you straight Waynetta..

Lorna did not beat me at the last Algarve trip...If she had been fit and well and played every day, she probably would have...However, she wasn't and she didn't.

She beat me at the last Golshake event though...And it was a different case entirely.

It won't happen again....EVER

As for Govan...he can just ##### off...Already got my name down for 2010...First on the list as it happens

Dunno.

I don't love him...If that's what you mean.

There is only one for me...And he got blown out by Cass...So no doubt he will come crawling back, begging for forgiveness

We had the option of a holiday in the Algarve this July.  Free accomodation on a golf course, just had to pay for flights.  She didn't want to go as she "wouldn't get to see me".  By the trip next year though we'll be married so she won't want to see me!

She will still see you Chris, the tee times are around the 9-10am area which means your finished around 2-3pm and it's only 15 mins travelling time, David took his own car last time so that when he finished he went back and met Sue so talk to him about how it worked out for them.

Forwarned is forarmed!!!!!!

Chris,

Use the technique that i used....Monday night i just SO happened to be browsing the events section when spotting the algave 2010 event. So i started off by saying how much she who must be obeyed would love a week in the sun at a 4 star resort lapping up the sun whilst i tried to improve my game in stunning surroundings at a bargin!!

After alittle thought, and recalling how much of a gem I'VE been over the last few months around the house, My WONDERFUL wife decided that i could do with a break so said O.K.

As long as you offer to take her first she won't be put out!

MAN OR MOUSE????.........."where's the cheese!"

I haven't Chris, But my missus is not push over by any means. She's golden really as i'll be leaving her with a 12yr,7yr,3yr&1yr for a week by the time we go!

I expect her mind to be change soon, thats why i wanted to pay a.s.a.p. then i could tell her "sorry love no refunds!"

You always do what someone close to me did, and that's tell her it's payed for and therefore it would mean losing all that money if they cancelled!!!!

And if she say's there is loads of time before you go to be able to cancel, tell her the ridiculously low price was based on "no return for cancellation" policy.

Besides no reason why you can't take her and the kids next time (2011), unless your trousers have slipped again???

Would love to come but I already use my 'free pass' for my trip to Alicante in November, plus all my other 'weekenders'. Don't want to push it too far, she already thinks playing twice a week is a ###ing liberty!

The problem with anyone dropping out is the extra cost the sub would have to pay, ie if it's a week or 2 before the final balance date, then flights are going to be dearer because it's closer to the event.

Also if you wanted to join after the final balance date, you would need to pay the holiday in one go and then your problem would be the tee's times & numbers would  have been confirmed and you wouldn't have been able to play with the main group, because they treat all tee times as Fourballs ands add other players out there to those groups not complete ie not 4ball.
