why is our sport not a olympic sport?
Paul Williams Handicap : 18.2 Location : Posts :	Posted : Sun 17th Aug 2008 00:47 maybe its because i'm new to the game! but i cannot understand why our "great sport" which brings in more money than 90% of the olympic sports put together, is not an olympic sport! it could be played over a four-day match play after qualifiers, or stroke-play,even for amatuers! im sure the big manufactures of our sport would love to market an olympic champion! so why are we not represented! if bmx, and mountain biking are represented then it as nothing to do with accent history!

Should it be strokeplay or matchplay? Should it allow Professionals or just Amateurs? How many days should it be contested over? All things that at this moment in time all the relevant bodies, associations and unions within golf can't decided on for an Olympic Event.
