Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!  I thought I felt a stabbing pain this morning, must have been as I met the reaper when you dismissed me Dave!

Please tell me...... how did I go????  Was I subjected to a slow painful drowning...... suffocated by some sordid rough...... or just simply brained by being spanked into the Blair Witch woods at 90mph????

I'm sorry I couldn't serve you better, I tried my best to head straight to the hole (story of my life!) but was misguided off course by the curse of golfing doom!!

I pledge to serve you to the best of my abilities.  I promise to fly straight, stay clear of the rough, avoid water like a rabid dog, treat sand as the mortal enemy, seek greens in regulation and head for the hole despite the break of the green.

Jim, you did me proud! I lost Tim B first shot on the 1st tee! You were with me all through the round and I only lost you since we always play for balls!* So, you're actually not "lost", you're in Tom Saint's  bag!

*(not sure  if I should have mentioned this at the start of the competition!)

Dave - how come your handicap is still showing as 27.8??  With recent scores of 96 and 94 it should be less than that now surely?? (assuming you're playing par 72 course...)

Not going to mention the BANDIT word for obvious reasons!! Doh!, think I just did.....

Anyway, keep playing well....... 

The course I play is par 68 - but I agree. I was sure my handicap was going to go down after my last round, but no!

Still, having my best run ever (four rounds in a row under 100!), and playing again this Tuesday - so here's hoping!

The tension is getting unbearable.  Barring disaster on your next three rounds  it looks like its down to a two horse race.  However if you don't get that average up above a hundred per ball Wayne must be odds on to net the spoils.

Could I suggest a small and curable attack of the yips on the greens for the next 6 rounds and putting all your clubs bigger than a pitching wedge in for regripping.

Another solid 94! The handicap's come down at last! Lost the game by 1 shot, so Blaine goes in Sheddy's bag.

101 this morning. Tim H did me proud all round, but Sheddy wins the game again, so lost Tim H to him!

I think we need a ruling on this situation: what if I find one of the lost balls from a previous round? Is that back in the bag?

Also, what if I win one of the originals back from my playing partners?

I only see 2 players left or are you including being over the amount said.

Colin IMO has lost his chance as it now stands at 902 and therefore is past his option of 864

I hera what your saying about Colin, Wayne, but couldn't remember what we'd agreed - did we say under didn't count?

He'll be out of the equation by the time I play next hopefully anyway! (No offence Colin!)

Can't remember myself in fairness Dave, not worried anyway mate was only a giggle.

Mind you have those that have lost out, paid their sponsorship of their balls???? I remember I offered a fiver (which i still stand by) could put it towards the charity golf day your having

Well, I achieved my intial goal which was to get my 12 srixons to last the summer! But It all ended very quickly with my last ball lasting just two shots!

So..............final score is 902 + 11 shots with the last two balls meaning that the total shots played with my 12 new balls is

.........fanfare please.........

Unfortunately, no-one can remember the exact rules of this competition so I declare that Colin and Wayne will share the chipped and scuffed driving range ball at the bottom of my bag!

Coincidentally, Wayne was the also the last ball out of the bag!

Thank you all for the entertainment this summer guys - I was hoping that I would still have at least 1 left when we meet up in Oct but hey ho. I've decided on keeping the naming tradition going - all my balls with have the names of Golfshake members on them, starting with those guys coming to Ombersley! 

Well done Wayne and Colin and thanks Dave for the entertaining thread. 

What's next Dave's Shoes.  Dave buys some shiny new shoes and we guess how many holes before they leak or how many blisters they cause on the first round.
