Advice needed!

Hi folks

A mate and I (and maybe a couple more) are looking to go for a short golf break at the end of August/start of September. I'd say we don't want to break the bank, but fancy going somewhere interesting with good golf, obviously. I was thinking maybe Scotland/Ireland.

Does anyone have any advice/recommendations? And are there any companies you have found good to go with?

Cheers!

I have been away with golfbreaks.com and golflinks.com.

Both recommended, obviously price varying on when and where.

Hi Si,

I have just come back from Limerick in Ireland with a group of Five. we had a great time and didn't break the bank.

Ryanair - £40 flights Manchester to Shannon - however 20 for golf bag each way if your taking one.

Travellodge 2 miles from limerick city centre 60 for 3 nights with 3 in one family room

Golf Played at East Clare photo and review posted on this site. €35 bargin

Second day played at Ballykisteen €50 bit more expensive and a touch more challenging.

There are many courses and some good Guiness to be drunk.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Sean
