Following the apparent success of a high handicap competition in England are there any members up here in Scotland interested in having a similar competition? I believe that one of my playing partners may be interested and if there are enough people interested the I will organise it (with help) . It would most likely take place in the Central Belt or Ayrshire. We could even have people come up from south of the border.

Regards

Jerry

If you get a good response, and build up a bit of a regular crowd, like we seem to have done.

Next Year we'll have to have a England vs Scotland match.

A four nations high handicap tournment would get satanta sports coverage. (Ive applied for High Handicap Comp to be trademarked following the success in England.)

I can say though Jerry its fantastic to play with people of the same abilty as everyone knows what it is like to lose a ball, duff a shot etc and so you are under no pressure.

If you buddy search for people with higher handicaps and PM them then I am sure you will get 20 plus players easy.

Good luck with it and see you next year for the 4nations HHC!!!
