Any other saddo's like me playing this weekend, I'm playing in my home club's medal comp (in Wales) and we're due 60 - 70mph winds.

Coupled with the fact it plays like a Links at the best of times, I'm looking forward to taking the weather on

I was due to be playing however having spent the early hours of last night in A&E and having now got a knee splint on for a suspected torn cartilage I don't think I'll be playing for a while or walking or driving for that matter!  Annoying as I had the best game for a long time last weekend.  No idea how I did it though it may of been wednesday nights badminton, which I also won't be doing for a while.

Played this morning at 8ish. Not too bad for wind but then again I didn't choose the curry last night!!!

Seriously, a bit gusty at times but played well. Only blobbed one hole and ended up with a good score.

To modest Lorin. according to your stats, thats the lowest round you've added. A drop of 1.6 on your handicap, and one blob. thats a very good round

I played yesterday in both high wind and torrential rain shooting 3 over my handicap, so considering the conditions I was really pleased with my game (only 2 pars, but the rest bogeys).

Played Saturday and got to say it was one of the best rounds I've had for a while, the wind made me think more about what I was doing and helped me to pick an extra club and swing more smoothly.
