Golf Society Invitation/Website

Our golf society needs to be dragged into the 21st century. I am looking to create our own website and to design an A4 sized invitation for new members. Does anybody know of any ideas to help me at all? I have seen some really professional sites on the internet, but am concerned about how much they would be. We are fairly small in numbers and do not have huge funds available, so some costings would be appreciated. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thanks

Google, simple.

Use Google sites to design your website for free and publish online for free. it does give you one of those longwinded addresses but you can buy a domain name relatively cheap. It's quick and easy to use and doesnt look bad. Our site is at http://www.tgatour.co.uk To give you an idea.

Also use google documents to design a flyer / poster and you can download as pdf.

It's all free and relatively easy to use, may be a bit of trial and error along the way.
