Hi Matthew - I'm just getting back into golf after not having played for 20 yrs ( although was never much good anyway). Had a few lessons and am 'thrashing around' mainly by myself at the moment . Judging by your other post I'm probably scoring similar to you so would welcome a game with someone of similar standard - I'd feel a bit embarassed/ intimidated with a low handicap golfer.

I live in Marple and have just joined Marple Golf Club so not far from you . I only have a 6 day membership so can't play Saturdays at Marple but have been playing some evenings and usually have thursday off. Let me know if you fancy a game and when is the best time for you Cheers

kool, how much would a round be for me to join you on a thursday jeremy?

It's normally £30 Matt but is reduced to £15 when playing with a member - Thursday is ladies day so would need to start before 10 ish or after 3

cool, well i will have a look at the times im working over the next few weeks and we will get something organized. i work shifts so it changes every week

I've done some tidying up of the community stuff which is now all under 'My Golfshake' and should provide an easier way to find the player search etc via Friends

Also when you now search it only pulls back players who have logged in recently rather than providing lists of all 160,000 golfers, some who haven't logged in since 2007 !!

Hi Kesh - I'm a member at Marple - on a 'social' membership at the moment so can't play there on saturdays - best days for me are Thursday or Sunday but could play sats elswhere ( football dependant until the end of the season!)
