How did I fare? I played Birkdale in the mid seventies in a Eurogolf Pro-Am partnering Jimmy Hulme of Gullane fame. We won the competition. My own view was that the course was not the best links I had ever played, the condition of the course was poor and that I would never be going back to play it again. |
