no 3 putts, no penalty strokes, no two chips - easy! worst u can take is a bogey! unlees you do something stupid like duff your approach.

No 3 putts, No worse than a bogey on each hole, on each green or near in regulation and to play to my handicap or better & also dont lose a ball or do anything stupid.just play sensible. If you get into trouble take your punishment and move on

to actually hit the ball straight would be nice !!, always try to stick to 2 putts & reach further that 100yrds with drive !!!

Better FIR. If I can drive better it makes the 2nd shot easier, which makes getting the ball closer easier, which makes for more birdie chances and more pars. Better short game might save par but better driving leads to more chances of beating it.

My record is 8 FIRs in a round so I always try to beat that. No 3 putts and no 6s 7s or snowmen (8s) on the card (usually end up with a couple of 6s though!)

I'm off out for the monthly stableford in an hour or so and my goal for today is to concentrate on my approach shots and get them on the green! Somehow - when it comes to that shot I get so wayward and end up needing a chip onto the green when I should already be there!

my goal is always 36 points, anything more is a bonus.

My goal is to stay calm and keep focusing on one shot at a time. I lose more shots once I start thinking about my score. Best golf is played when all I think about is the shot facing me.
