I got one of these at the end of April as a replacement for my G5 which broke. I got fitted at Gainsborough for a 9 Degree Loft Aldila VS Proto 65-X Shaft Driven Beast of Power! I have never hit a driver before which sends the ball flying off the face so fast without it being an illegal hotfaced one. The ball speed I get with this and the lower spinrate means my drives are now consitantly further and straighter then ever before. The dispersion this club gives is impressive especially as its not classed as a High MOI Driver. At a recent demo day at our club the Ping Technician was great at demonstrating via launch monitor how people's drivers compared to this club. Most found they'd be much straighter with it and their dispersion would tighten up. They might not gain massive yards but finding fairways is what counts in the amateur game. The only gripe you can have with the club is the £329 price tag. Its £100 more then the G5 which I think most people would go for in a shop side by side. There's not enough visibly different to tempt the average golfer who probably doesn't know all the techincal details like me a Golf Nerd. In the recent May Issue of Today's Golfer it was one of the best drivers they tested and if it wasn't for the massive bias they have towards the 'Square' Drivers this would and should have been the best driver with the test results alone.
