Location: From M4 junction 16: Take Wroughton exit. Follow road past garden centre on right. Continue straight on to Salthrop following brown tourist signs for half a mile. Entrance is on the right From A4361 At the Uffcott / Salthrop crossroads, take Salthrop turning. Follow road for 1 mile through wood and down hill. Entrance is then another half a mile on left

Have played this course a number of times, generally well kept. Lacks a number of bunkers to make it exceptionally challenging. However for the money and a nice round of 9 it is well worth the money and enjoyable.

An fine new course with some maturing still to do. For a pay and play course it is not heavily trafficed and I have never had to wait to get a tee time. Generally in great condition currently - fairways and greens. This is a REAL 9 hole golf course including a 600yd par 5 !

This 9 hole course is ideal for a quick round with generous fairways. I have found that the greens are usually too wooly, but I have been informed by the club that this is intentional to protect them from the traffic that goes through them. I find this quite hard to believe as it is never really busy.
It does offer good value for money adn the range is excellent.The Course

Very good course. Second hole a little challenging if your looking to par but play to your handicap a good lay up should see you right. Very well kept and when the trees grow will be a very good course. Very polite staff who go out their way to help you. Great value for money. Shame only nine holes but you wont be bored playing it twice.

For a new golf course its very good. The fairways are in very good condition as are the greens. The staff are polite and helpful, and to be honest its worth going to check out the stunning girl who works there

An excellent course, but still in its infancy. A couple of tough holes, especially the 2nd. Whole course will be a lot tougher when the trees have grown around the course. Well looked after, good driving range and facilities. Shame it's not a full 18 hole course. Hopefully it won't be ruined by membership. There aren't enough pay and play courses about for people who play and don't want the snobbiness of a members club. The staff are all very helpful and go out of their way to be polite and friendly.

For a Local course, this is ideal. It is a shame that the course is only 9 holes, but what they do have is very well maintained. Very good facilities (driving range etc) and all at good value.

A really good course. When all the new trees grow it will be even more challenging. The second hole is an absolute nightmare. Really tough.
Just hope that the course continues to prove challenging and that they do not get too big for their boots by having to many members. This area needs more pay and play courses.
Shame its not 18 holes but very good nonetheless.Overall rating
