Played 31/12/13, recently played Hainaut lower and Priors, and of the those and Hobbs Cross. The latter wins hands down for quality. All courses were played after very heavy persistent rain.
But for some reason, Hobbs Cross was presented in near immaculate condition.
Tee areas on Par 3 and longer course are in fab nick for wet December , and the greens are solid, true and reward good putting. I had at least 4 putts over 10ft holed on the longer course.
Only two criticisms, first the bunkers. Flooded with rain water, and secondly other players.
Please repair divots taken, it really is bad golf etiquette. Every hole the fairways had large gouges where hackers had dug big divots and hast repaired. Same with pitch marks on the green.
If the green keeping team here don't get a medal for their efforts i don't know what deserves one.
Score 31 on Valley, and 46 on Weald. handicap 18
