Good course with some interesting holes. worth a visit if you in the area but not if you travelling from distance

Great greens -running very true. Course very dry and worn in places.Clubhouse fish and chips a legend! but the other facilities are poor.

As john said the course is very distinct in its layout. it is very testing in the rough areas but good for the game.i cant really add much more than john has said but my group found it an absolutely joy especially the 10th over the water and the 15th over the cove.

The first thing anyone will say about Seahouses is that it is a course of two distinct parts. It is very Links style on the clubhouse side of the road and Parkland on the other side. The Parkland side is okay. The Fairways are a bit rough and ready but have nice springy grass. As with the Links part there is not a great deal of rough to cause you problems but there are some water hazards. On the Links part of the course there are some excellent holes which on a nice summers day I'm sure will be an absolute pleasure to play. They are testing and with some great views along the beautiful Northumbrian coast.The short yardage of the course tells it's own story that the course is shoe-horned into limited space which restricts it's potential. It is a course which can be enjoyable for all standards of player, it's just a shame that the few excellent holes aren't backed up with some better ones on the rest of the course. The welcome in the clubhouse was very warm and we enjoyed some great butties at Lunchtime. The changing facilities are adequate, but boy the toilets could do with a good clean the smell was disgusting !!
