The Parkland Course:
A challenging 6,496 yard course of undulating grassland featuring a good combination of both par 3 and par 5 holes. The course was designed by the International Architect Howard Swan, which is evident in the play of this popular 18 hole configuration. Of particular note is its natural habitat being graced with the presence of many species of birds and wildfowl.
The Riverside Course
A most challenging course constructed to the same international standards and benefiting from the River Stour which winds through several ponds and water features. An 18 hole course, its length of 6,231 yards provides an excellent course for the more advanced player.
The Knighton Course
This 9 hole par 3 is a great introduction to the shorter game offering holes from 95 to 235 yards. Some of the greens have been designed with three levels making "finishing" in a dramatic style. A super course which will prove to be extremely popular for those golfers with a mission!Book a Tee Time

Good round greens in good nick and fairways to. Early morning tee off no rush and enjoyed.

Really enjoyed playing the course, which was in great condition. Whilst the course was quite busy, we didn't find it to be slow to get round. I'd been told that it was quite tough, so as a high handicapper had worried how well I would cope. But I thought it was a very fair test. Off the yellow tees, the water hazards and out of bounds were not to big an issue, unless, like me, you occaisionally slice or hook a tee shot very badly!

A very well kept golf coarse, with a few very challenging holes,with water hazards,staff very friendly and helpfull, anfd the greens are always in a1 condition.

The course is not particularly difficult and you could get around most of the front nine with irons. Course management is important, especially on the front nine. The back nine is flat, no real danger besides a lake which you play past twice and the fairways open up which means you can get aggressive with your tee shots. The tee times are squashed together meaning you will probably be queuing behind slow groups fairly regularly.

Very well kept from tee to green with a good mix of holes and hazards to keep things interesting. Not open enough to make it an 'easy' round, but not too difficult to scare off higher handicappers. Greens aren't the fastest and don't seem to borrow much, but run true. One of very few courses in the area to accept 2-Fore-1 vouchers against their regular green fees rather than a 'day rate'. Decent pro shop and bar. Reasonably priced, probably the best course in the area for sub-£30.

Parkland - nice course. Not hugely punishing which is good for me as my woods are poor. Entertaining enough and is in very good condition.

Riverside - A short course but well kept, quality greens, Not many bunkers due to flooding and the most of them are poorly positioned so rarely come into play.

I have played all three courses at Canford Magna now. The Parkland is a bit more open with longer holes. The Riverside has a couple of long holes as well but is more narrow than the Parkland with water coming into play on a few holes. Par 3 Knighton is also very good if you wanted a shorter round with 3 tier greens, water hazards and woods as obstacles. All the greens were very good and well maintained even on the Knighton course.

This course is in a fair condition although the greens had not long been tined it still played well the staff were very helpful. It is a course i feel well enough about to recomend and would play again or try one of their other courses they all looked good .

Provides an enjoyable game of golf for mid to high handicappers.
Usually in good condition, however, some areas can be a bit soft underfoot especially on the Riverside Course.
Nice clubhouse.
Worth a visit.

This course is kept on excellent condition all year round, two courses one Parkland one Riverside givr a good challenge to golfers of all levels, there's also an excellent 9 hole par 3 to test your short game, all in all top marks.
