Just been to the driving range for the first time in quite a while. Overall the condition of the practice balls was poor at best and I certainly would not be back.

I have a love/hate relationship with this course

Brucefields is handy for a quick 9 holes and pretty good value for money. However, while some holes are good (the 5th, 7th & 8th), there is the patently stupid "signature" 6th. The the maintenance isn't great - the greens are as slow as anything, the bunkers are a disgrace and patrons don't fix pitch marks. Its a course maintained on a tight budget and it shows. Avoid during the winter at all costs as there is exactly no effort put into keeping the course playable.

Very basic course, quite wet on some fairways, but of flooding even though it's july. It's also an easy course, I shot an 82. Not bad, good facilities, but at £20 for the full 18 holes it's very expensive

This course is very short, only 9 holes and was very wet when we played. It wasn't very expensive but also isn't a great course.

Enjoyed the signature hole, the Par 3, 6th. From an elevated tee it requires accuracy especially with the burn at the back of the green

Lovely 9 holes course with some interesting holes, most notably the par 3 6th with a hundred foot drop. Friendly staff too and pretty cheap, would definitely recommend.

Good course and nice facilities with a range and also a good American golf adjoined. Course was a bit boggy but then time of year is fair enough. The course was nice however and a good 9 hole course we'll maintained.

A reasonable muncipal / pay as you play family golf centre that is a reasonable test of golf if a little short and unchallenging on occassions.

Can probably leave the woods at home here and practice your short game if your a resonable golfer.

Still good value and excellent to go out with weaker players.

Great short course to start playing golf, it has some challenging holes, nicely design and after 7 years playing it, I notice huge improvements in the care of the greens and the whole course in general. I love holes 2, 6 and 7. With also a nice hole 9 to finish on a high note :-) Took some lessons and the coaches are good as well as the shop and bar. I am a beginner and I really enjoy playing it. Even for a better player, it presents some entertaining challenges to display their short game. And for me, that is what amateur golf is about.
