Location: Take the slip road at Junction 2 of the M180. Turn towards Crowle on the A161. After approximately 900 yeards, turn left in to the Golf Club driveway (opposite Little Hirst Farm).

I this this course is very good cousre to play on the greens are in very good condition and some challenging holes well challenging for me at a 22 handicap. Hole 15 has changed to a dogleg right near the hole with a nice tree in the way on the approach.

Nicely cared for course, good true greens. Very few people out today. Whilst the course is well cared for it is a little bit boring after a while. Back nine seems very samey with a number of par 4 300/350 yard holes.

I am a member of this course, and play all year round. The greens and fairways are kept in almost perfect condition. T boxes are open throughout the year.

Easy under foot and generally level, this woodland course has water coming into play on a couple of holes. Normally plays on normal greens what ever the weather.
Very small pro shop (well a couple of shelves really). Large clubhouse. No practice area seen.

A lovely course in good condition. The greens are a bit on the slow side, but true and receptive.
There's well placed bunkers and water hazzards to keep you honest off the tea, but little in the way of trouble if you miss the fairways

I have been an affiliate member here for a couple of years. I speand most of my time playing in opens closer to home through the season but this places comes into its own in Autumn and Spring. Summer greens all year which are surprisingly true and well kept. The course isnt tough, the holes start off quite open and tighten up on the back nine, however the front nine is longerand tougher. There are only 4 holes that are difficult to par, 4 - 5 - 9 and 13. I think the best hole is 14 with the two tiered green, water on the right and the protective bunkers, this is the best looking hole as well, it looks almost like a links hole.

I HAVE PLAYED THIS MANY TIMES AND IT IS ONE OFF THE BEST IN THE AREA A VERY GOOD TEST OF GOLF BUT FAIR TO ALL HANDICAPS GOOD GOLF IS REWARDED AND NOT SO GOOD IS NOT TO BAD

Hirst Priory is a lovely little track, not overly long but ok. They nearly spoilt it a little with a change on the par 5 15th, made it a dog leg right at right angles and the green was rubbish. The last time i played it it was back to the straight par 5. They wanted to make it so you played it as a par 5, because you can get on in two on the straight version, theres water on the left of the green so they should have just extended the lake around the front of the green and hey presto its a proper par 5 again, not a gimmick hole. This is the only thing i dislike about the course, a couple of minor niggles but you can put up with these. However if you book as a society be careful as i know of 2 societies who have been quoted a price and had their sandwiches and coffee when they have got there only to find out that they are charged extra when they go to pay, not cheap either, be warned.

A VERY NICE COURSE, ALL YEAR ROUND TEES AND GREENS, NEVER ANY TEMPS!! THE GREENS ARE EXCELLENT AS ARE THE FAIRWAYS. THE COURSE DRAINS VERY WELL AND IS A GOOD TEST OF ANYBODYS GOLFING ABILITIES.
