What the club says: This majestic course covers 7,153 yards of heathland, woodland, links and inland terrain - a wonderful combination of beautiful landscapes and challenging terrain.

Some of our holes are famous for their outstanding natural beauty; our 5th hole boasts the longest hole in Scotland (at 635 yards) and our 6th spans a lake which has been adopted as a nesting site by a bird colony. When you reach the 12th at the start of the home stretch, the Spey Valley opens up before you like a film set, whilst the 16th presents a real challenge for even the most experienced golfer. You'll need a long, accurate tee shot to carry the water hazard and the flowering purple heather is standing by to punish a poor shot. However, the most spectacular of all has to be the 18th; with its two bunkers designed to mirror the undulating corries of the mountains beyond, this is our raison d'être.

Good Deal

Greenfees looked expensive but we got a deal at £99 for 2 with a buggy. Lovely course but I would suggest the buggy is needed as there are long distances between greens and tees in some cases.

Golfshake Team ReviewReally nice course and a great layout. Some of the scenery is stunning.

The start is quite tricky but then feels like it opens up a bit which is great if wild from the tee.

The greens and bunkers are excellent.

Challenging and scenic course in excellent condition. Surprising firm and fast fairways and greens for an inland course. Lots of variety of holes - some very long and straight, others requiring sharp turns and very accurate tee shot placement to have a good shot to the green e.g. #15. Comfy small clubhouse. Yellow tees plenty of fun for me, a short-hitting 13-handicapper (though I did manage to reach 600 yd par 5 in three with several good downhill shots that got plenty of run on the firm fairway. With a Bunkered voucher and two paid tee-times before 9am, £70 for a 3-ball was great value.
